I actually had well over 1,200 emails to deal in my work email box with when I returned. Luckily, I was albe to access my work account from my sister's and spent about 6 hours dealing with the most urgent and whittling the rest down to about 800. Since I was out of vacation days, I needed to spend about 12 hours on work related things between our return and going back to work on Nov. 27. So dealing with email and doing some reading for my upcoming sabbatical helped me clock those hours. That's one reason I don't have the journals transcribed yet, that and a church related crisis that I needed to spend time on as the incoming chair of the Staff Relations Committee. I will try to get at least Journal A transcribed and off to folks via email by the end of the week, if not before. I'll try to get some further photos posted this weekend as well. Grace and Peace to all!Susan

Dorothy - We were glad to hear that you got home safely. Tell us your "long story". I'm curious as to why it took you 4 days to get back to Michigan. Also, post the pictures of Chris with the orphans. I'd like to see them.

To Mark:
So far you hold the record for emails received. My inbox held only 440.
I have some great pics of Chris with the orphans. What a guy!

Hi, Everyone!
Dave (the "lost-luggage kid") and I made it home to Canadian Lakes yesterday, (Weds. Nov. 29th) after a round-about journey from Vic Falls, via Harare, London, Miami, Detroit, & Romulus.(Yes, we left Vic Falls on the 25th. It's a long story.) Anyway, our suitcases are still arriving, one by one.
Can't wait to see you on Dec. 16th.
Love to all,
Dave and Dorothy

Marsha, Christopher and I drove from Romulus to Indiana yesterday afternoon. Marsha dropped us off in Indianapolis around 6:30 pm and was going to keep driving to Kentucky that night. Today, Christopher went back to school (wearing his green VIMtoZIM polo shirt) and I'm back in the office and fully immersed in dealing with the 652 messages in my email inbox.

Hello all!

Anna and I caravaned to the Columbus, OH, area yesterday after leaving Romulus. We parted ways at Delaware, where I headed east to Sunbury and Anna continued south to Dublin. What a wonderful trip we have all just finished! Blessings and best wishes for a wonderful Thanksgiving!
